Successful Businesswomen of Pakistan

Today’s successful businesswomen of Pakistan have a positive story to tell. A story about the role of strong women in society. However, time and again they are snubbed under the dominance of patriarchy. The society in general, puts down women; sometimes as a mother, a sister, a daughter she has to sacrifice her dreams. This isn’t only limited to our culture and society. Women suffer around the world in different ways. But there are strong, independent and successful businesswomen around us to remind those with dreams that they too can accomplish more.

The word independent usually puts the men in our society on the defensive and offensive. In their heads an independent woman is out of bounds, rebellious to the extent of bringing shame to the family and society at large. We have example of successful businesswomen of Pakistan who have made it big in their respective fields. They have brought pride and honor for the name of Pakistan. They have contributed positively and constructively to the growth of our society. More power to many such women with dreams to reach for the stars.
