YouTube Star ‘The Pirate of Culiacán’ Shot Dead
An emerging YouTube star and Mexican teenager, commonly known as ‘The Pirate of Culiacan’ made a video of himself insulting the most dangerous drug dealer. He looked intoxicated himself too.
Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales, is commonly known as ‘The Pirate of Culiacan’ or ‘El Pirata de Culiacan’, left his hometown without even finishing his high school at the age of 15.
He spent the early years of his life in municipality of Culiacan, from where he got his nickname, along with a reputation of partying and excessive drinking.
He used to post videos on YouTube with beer and bottles of whiskey.
Lagunas Rosales, by the age of 17, had more than 300,000 Instagram followers. His fame make his approached by music videos and promotional events. It looked like Lagunas wanted to grew up too soon as he drew beard on his chin and tattoos on his arms. He used to post his pictures with luxurious cars and indecently dressed women.

He treated his life as it was a ‘Big Party”. Sinaloa is the most violent city of Mexico. Lagunas Rosales insulted the most dangerous drug dealer in his video as per the US governmental officials.
Leader of New Generation Cartel of Jalisco, commonly known as El Mencho, is known for being powerful cartels. He was imprison for three years in Heroine case.
Its still not clear why Lagunas took tussle with El Mencho. On Monday a group of gunmen opened fire at Lagunas. Lagunas was shot 15 or more times.
