What’s ACTUALLY Happening in Sudan?
Thrown Pebbles in your eyes, otherwise they won’t cry…
This was a phrase from a song I listened to years ago. Maybe this song was from a Palestine band. At that time, and even now, it is so true… We are not bothered, we don’t care that with the blink of our eye, our Muslim brother is being butchered or our Muslim sister is converted to a living dead by being brutally raped.
Many of us still do not know what is actually happening in Sudan. That’s primarily because the military has forcefully stopped the media/social media to share anything with the outside world.
Precisely Sudan has been under military control for several years. The country is under rule of Omar Al-Bashir. This was causing political oppression, economic depression and war. Citizens of Sudan were no longer ready to take his rule, so they started peaceful protests. As a result Omar Al-Bashir was over thrown earlier 2019 due to peaceful protests and sit-ins. It was indeed a big achievement by the people of Sudan and they came out on streets again BUT for celebrations. Military promised to handover the rule of country to civilian representatives, but talks couldn’t get success between military and civilians. This resulted in brutal violence from the military to the peaceful civilians who were protesting.
Officially there are more than 100 protestors dead so far. Authorities deny the rape cases, but facts do not. People are dying their day and night. However they are not willing to give up.

Sitting here in Pakistan, crying for our own economic crises, we might not be able to do anything. BUT for the sake of humanity, pray Allah to help them so that we have something to say to our Sudanese brothers when we meet them on Day of Judgement…
If you still can’t relate to Sudan, please listen to this
May Allah protect us all and bless the whole world with peace… Ameen…
