FBR Having Tensions With Saba Qamar
Federal Board of Revenue has summoned Saba Qamar on 15th May for evasion of taxes.
According to reports, FBR sent notices to the actress to explain the transparency in filed income taxes. In a report by Geo News, taxes paid by the actress are audited for the year 2014-2015.
The source further said, “Saba Qamar’s filed income taxes do not match her lifestyle.”It also said, “Further investigation will be conducted on details presented by the actor and then her income taxes filed for the years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 will also be audited,”
Saba Qamar is asked to submit details of her assets and foreign tours. However Saba Qamar has not confirmed any news about the FBR notice. She said, “I have not received any notice and I am only hearing of it from you,”
According to a report published in last September, Saba Qamar was a tax evader of Rs3.4 million.

The reports also said that the board sealed Saba Qamar’s house on tax evasion. However Saba Qamar has denied all such news saying, “My house has not been sealed, neither has my bank account. I’m a tax filer. It’s very disappointing that channels are circulating such news without finding out the truth. These channels have no credibility as they have been spreading such rumours.”
Saba Qamar is at the peak of her career, and I really wish she is not into any such tax crises.
