Here is the Reason Why SnapChat has Redesigned Itself

SnapChat knew that its redesigned application could dramatically attract ferocious criticism from its user base, but it had to make the changes independently.

The new version of Snapchat is being extended to users, many of whom are unhappy with the redesign and asking the company to revert it.

However, it is almost certain that Snapchat will not give in to the pressure, since the modifications were made to help the company make money. In fact, he accurately predicted that this could happen.

How to Use the Redesigned Version of SnapChat

SnapChat announced its redesign in November after disclosing its revenue report which was better than Wall Street expectations.

Evan Spiegel, CEO SanpChat said, “One thing that we have heard over the years is that Snapchat is difficult to understand or hard to use, and our team has been working on responding to this feedback,”

He further added, “As a result, we are currently redesigning our application to make it easier to use. There is a strong likelihood that the redesign of our application will be disruptive to our business in the short term, and we don’t yet know how the behavior of our community will change when they begin to use our updated application.

“We’re willing to take that risk for what we believe are substantial long-term benefits to our business.”

From the twitter trends, it is evident that SnapChat users are pretty unhappy with the update. SnapChat is well aware of this ‘disliking’ and criticism. The company has said, “Updates as big as this one can take a little getting used to, but we hope the community will enjoy it once they settle in.”

The company has also requested its users to give it a chance. The company says that it cannot revert the app to its previous version.

Spiegal also cleared that the main purpose behind this “change” is to separate “the social from the media”
