Priyanka Chopra’s another Pakistani Doppelganger

Whether it is someone from among our friends and family who has a lookalike or a famous celebrity, we cannot help but feel curious and amused at how nature works.

In the past we have had many a people from the public who look like Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. Sometimes even struggling actors, who bear even a little resemblance to some celebrity, especially from across the border, make more efforts to physically enhance their looks to match those they idolize. If nothing else, they do get the limelight and sometimes if lucky enough, a chance or two to be part of some TV shows.

 

These days another actress, a famous one in our industry is being raved about for being the doppelganger of the Baywatch actress, Priyanka Chopra. It is none other than our TV actress Zhalay Sarhadi. In an interview to Express Tribune the actress revealed that she was once contacted by someone in India who offered her the role of a body double for the Indian diva. This however, offended Zhalay Sarhadi, and rightly so!

Now and then social media and our media industry goes crazy whenever a lookalike of an Indian celebrity is spotted in Pakistan. Mehvish Hayat is often called the Pakistan’s Nargis Fakri. Likewise not too long ago, Fawad Khan was being compared to Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer. In fact another TV actress Sonia Hussain has been called the Priyanka Chopra of our industry who also has much closer resemblance to the former Miss India than Zhalay Sarhadi.
