The Much Awaited PSL 2018 Is Here!!!!

It is that time of the year the cricket fans inside us Pakistanis is going to get all excited and ready for some action. PSL is here! Get ready for some action, emotions elevating, heart beats racing, and a month of fun and excitement.

For those who don’t know PSL will played for the 3rd time. There will be 6 teams this year, with the addition of Multan team. Foreign players are shuffled into the teams with a maximum of 7 players in each. The PSL series will  take place from 22nd February till 25th March. Hopefully some of the matches will take place in Lahore and Karachi keeping in mind the security clearance.

Here’s the details of the teams. Select the team you will be rooting for this Feb.

One of the things to watch out for this PSL season is the new team songs. Something very exciting and lively by Peshawar Zalmi.  There is some energy in the Peshawar Zalmis that is electrifying. Even if you are rooting for the team, Zalmi’s take the Limelight

Lahore Qalandar have taken up the twitter trending these days with the hashtag #BeLoudBeProud. Their new slogan is all the rage: Qalandar ki Pehchaan, Pakistani Nojawan, which is all about selecting young talent. After their performance in the last PSL, it seems like this year we will see new fire and more skilled qalandars reigning the cricket grounds.  A rising star Salman Irshad has everyone’s attention, who aced at the Azad Kashmir trials. Shaheen Shah Afridi is another name to look out for.

 

The new Multan Sultan team is something that everyone should cheer and support. They are new, they are young and they might give some tough competition to the rest of the PSL players. Let us see how the sultans of Multan do.

The good thing about PSL is that which ever team wins, it will be our win. Let the fun begin!
