Thing that caught my attention is apni shadi ko asaan banayein … Lately we have actually made wedding celebrations ‘dream’ for common middle class man. The unlimited list of functions, dresses, meals, dances, decor and the list goes on and on.
With every passing day, this list and the expenses connected to wedding celebrations are increasing. We all do it, but for whom? for people? and if shadi happens with sadgi, the first concern is, loog kia kahein ge…
The answer is ab kuch to loog kahein, loogoon ka kaam kehna… Please stop spending unnecessary amounts on wedding. How embarrassing, the bed on which the groom has to sleep should be given by girl’s father. The groom’s father has to offer chuwarey, and the bride’s father is supposed to serve whole baraat with lavish meals and unlimited criticism of not being up to the mark.
We can never make people happy, but we can make Allah happy.
Think about a wedding in which you simply go to bride’s place, get nikkafied and take her home. SIMPLE!
I don’t understand the meaning of all tubbers (the punjabi wala tubber) dancing and eating and back biting…
Make your life and others easy, eliminate the curse of dowry from our society, stop looking down at girl (bride) and her family. Adopt simplicity.
