The Government of Punjab has initiated e-Rozgaar program. The Program is led by the Chief Minister of Punjab with aims of enhancing employment opportunities for youth through proper guidance and training. In e-Rozgaar, ‘freelancing through internet’ is the base of whole training. e-Rozgaar is targeting the unemployed youth so that they can polish their skills through training freelance working. This will help them to earn respectable livelihood online without huge investments. In addition to this, many skilled youngster also opt freelance working through internet as sideline of earning to increase their income. In either case, the training will help the youth to improve his/her way of living. Overall it is a good effort by Government of Punjab to facilitate unemployed youth.

The applicant can simply visit the website of e-Rozgaar, and register by filling a simple form.
Eligibility Criteria of e-Rozgaar
However there is an eligibility criteria that he needs to fulfill. Firstly, the candidate must have 16 year of education completed from a certified institution. Higher Education Commission will help in verifying the degrees. Secondly, he should be aged 22-35. He should have a sound Academic Record. In addition to above mentioned criteria, he should have command over language with good communication and writing skills. The candidate should be self driven and self motivated. Candidates with degree completion and computers know-how would be given preference. It would be a full-time training program and candidate would have to strictly follow the rules and regulations devised by trainers and program organizers. The candidate will have to go through a short interview/online test for selection. Management shall have all the rights to select or reject a candidate without explanation. The candidates once rejected, can apply again for the next session.
