Do You Know Who Invented Internet? Answer Will Leave You In Fits Of Laughter
Indian minster Tripura Chief Minister has claimed that the ancient Indians invented internet thousands of years ago, LOL.
According to “his” information based on indications of Hindu epic Mahabharata, ancient Indians had satellite and internet.
He said, “Internet and satellite communication had existed in the days of Mahabharata. How could Sanjaya (the charioteer of King Dhritarashtra) give a detailed account and description to the blind king about the battle of Kurukshetra? It means internet was there, the satellites and that technology was there in this country at that time,”
He didn’t stop cracking jokes here, but said that Europe and America may say that internet is “their” invention, however in reality it is India’s technology.
He said, “Internet and satellite system had existed in India millions of years ago. The richest culture belongs to our nation and I feel proud of it. Even today in internet and software technology, we are ahead. See Microsoft, it may be a US company but most of its engineers are all from our country,”
Unfortunately, his views took new twitter trends, and people started mocking him. Here are some of the trending tweets.
This raises a few questions. Why didn't Abhimanyu ask Quora how to escape the Chakravyuha? Why did Sanjay narrate the Kurukshetra War when Siri could have done it? Also, Krishna really should have streamed the Bhagavad-Gita on Facebook Live. https://t.co/vrauX1UIpZ #Mahabharata

Of course internet existed during the #Mahabharata period. A war between brothers centred around their hurt egos could have only started on a family whatsapp group.

However even after this height of criticism, the minister stood by his claim, and according to NDTV, he said,
“narrow minded people who find it tough to believe this.”
“Every Indian should have a common thinking that India is best and superior country all around the world,” he said. “My country had the technology years ago, which no country had. I am proud of that and I think every Indian should feel proud. I want to repeat that we should accept the truth and should not get confused.”
We wish you all the best for your future beliefs… Hamari Jaankaari k bahar patanahi India ne radio, bulb ar kia kia invent kia jo k Marconi aur Einstein jaisey loogoon ne apney naam se laga diye… 😀
