Device Invented For the Visually Impaired

Visual impairment is not a problem now! Sonic Eye is the device developed for helping the visually impaired people.

Sonic Eye:

Hafsa Jamal is a Pakistani student who developed the device “Sonic Eye” which assists the visually impaired people. Hafsa hails from Peshawer city of Pakistan. The developed device consists of a white stick, having a navigation device attached with a sensor which buzzes every time it detects an object in close proximity.
Hafsa also said that a mobile app is in making which will assist the impaired people to navigate by using their phone instead of a stick. Furthermore, Miss Jamal also aims to put such navigational device on daily use items such as currency notes, cameras etc.

DockKnock:

Students of Karachi University also developed many applications last year regarding the field of medical. The apps were developed for Android and Websites. DockKnock was one of the projects displayed, it was basically a website developed by Mehak Shakeel and Nashra Ghauri. The website was a way of communication between the patients and the doctors, irrespective of the disease or ailment they were suffering from.
