Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meets Bollywood superstars
Do you think it is only we, Pakistanis who admire and follow Bollywood stars much? No, it is not the case. Bollywood film industry is one of the largest and most renowned film industries in the world. It can be observed from the fact that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meets Bollywood superstars during his India Trip.
A Junior Minister welcomed Canadian PM on his arrival at New Delhi Airport on Saturday, 17th February, 2018.
He visited historical Taj Mahal Monument in Agra the next day.
During an event held on 20th February, Canadian PM Trudeau and his family met with Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Aamir Khan, and Anupam Kher.
Two of the most prominent Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan met with Trudeau. Trudeau tweeted his pictures with these stars thanking them for showing support in increasing collaboration and co-production opportunities between the two countries.
An Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, actor and playback singer Farhan Akhtar appreciated Trudeau’s efforts for eliminating gender discrimination. He further tweeted that his particular action is an inspiration to all of us.
Anupam Kher likes Trudeau’s communication skills a lot. Anupam said:
We wish a peaceful fun-filled trip to Trudeau and his family in India. And we hope that he will visit Pakistan soon.
