Beautified Kalaam Valley, Swat. Pakistan

All political parties of Pakistan keep on glorifying the amazing jobs they do for Pakistan. At times it feels that political party in rule gives us (nation) favor by doing its job, like developing schools, universities, hospitals, infrastructure etc. As if they are doing it from their own pocket. And once they do something, they spend more and more amounts of money by marketing it on all channels; print, electronic and social. Thus making the nation realize how good they are. Here, we are going to talk about Kalaam, Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) which is recently renovated by governing party the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).

I have differences with PTI, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, on many fronts, especially with the party polices. But there is one thing that we all should appreciate and is lacking in all other parties. They have already done, and still doing a lot in KPK and are not publicizing it at all. I stood still in astonishment on seeing recent pictures of Kalam. The progress in KPK is visible.

According to Reuters another milestone in PTI bucket is the “Billion Tree Tsunami”, which involves adding trees both by planting and natural regeneration, which governs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in Pakistan’s northwest. It aims to turn around deforestation and increase the province’s forested area by at least 2 percent. Years of tree felling have reduced Pakistan’s forests to under 2 percent of its land area, one of the lowest levels in the region, according to a 2015 U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization report.

About 40 percent of the country’s remaining forests are in KPK province, where Khan’s tree planting effort is expected to hit its billion-tree goal by the end of 2017.

So, in short after seeing progession in Kalaam we can assume that PTI working hard to bring tourism back to the country in a positive way, we should try take part in this national cause to bring back the beauty of our beloved country which can definitely attracts tourist to come and see natural beauty, it obviously add some chunk of income to country.

Here are some photos recently posted of Kalaam on Facebook page of CM KPK, Pervez Khattak.
