ANOTHER DAUGHTER OF SWAT IS NOMINATED FOR CHILDREN’S PEACE PRIZE
The air of confidence, self esteem and self reliance is spreading in all regions of Pakistan. 14 year old Hira Akbar from the administrative centre of Swat Saidu Sharif, is nominated for International Children’s Peace Prize arranged by KidsRights Foundation. KidsRights Foundation is an organization working on International scale to protect child rights.
Hira Akbar is a prominent speaker of CRC, Child Rights Committee parliament. She is nominated for the peace prize meant to honor her endeavors about child rights protection in Swat and speaking up on different platforms about injustice observed towards children.
She has raised her voice against under aged marriages as well. Also she has highlighted the issue physical abuse being carried out towards children in some schools of Swat.
Around the world 156 children are nominated for the award. The people of Swat are positive about her winning the award.
The winner of the award would be announced on November 15. May our country keep on prospering and our generations signify the name of our country in glowing colors.
